I know there has been more on at once than 113 since but day in and day out It seems almost certain that after the coming update, there will be a new login community total record logged in at once. What's your thoughts on this news and the growing community?

Of coure, once it gets released the forum may explode.

You say Noob like its a bad thing. More new players can only be good for the projects future.

GlaDOS, be excited for a new influx of players, while the initial how do I do stuff posts can be annoying they will soon die down. Plus with the influx of paying players the developers will be able to continue working on the game and adding even more elements to the game. Yes, new people can be annoying but be patient with them and you may find yourself better off because they are here.

The forum will explode with the new update: new suggestions, new play throughs, new discussions, new bugs, new stories etc. etc. Can only be a good thing

Wanna know why I hate new players? Look at the minecraft forums, I like being able to have a say of opinion on these forums.

Plus it brings in potential modders, and other people who may play a pretty nice role in the community. It does bring with it the possibility of some unpleasant people, but it's worth it if it brings in even one long term member.

nobody cares about you because you're acting like a fucking moron. you know what people listen to? people listen to people who don't post threads saying ''i feel like i need a talking potato'' or whatever it was you did earlier. people listen to people who don't make posts saying ''i hate new players to this game'' or whatever you said above.

the only difference is that in a larger community there would be more people who didn't care about your dumbass posts. start talking interesting shit and people will start caring.

You're over-reacting GlaDOS. Yea, some of new people may be "trouble" but a lot of the new people that come on here are already experienced forum users and know how to talk on a forum properly and know the repercussions of actions against the rules. Which is something you seem to not to abide by. (making spam threads)

I also noticed the most trouble you have on this forum is with older experienced forum members so I really don't see what your getting at, at these "supposed trouble-causing noobs."

There are only a handful of active modders currently, so more would be great. Especially some lua ones, so I can look at their code and learn some new stuff

Your really not seeing the big picture. Look for whats good for the GAME not your own short sighted outlook. Good people will come along with bad. Just like in real life. And theres nothing you can do about it.

Speaking as a new member, and a fairly brief lurker, I just want to say that new members are ass-kickingly awesome, and are the best thing since canned pudding.

But seriously, I can't think of an online community that hasn't or wouldn't benefit from an influx of new ideas and opinions. As has been mentioned, there will also be an influx of flaming a-holes, but that percentage is usually fairly small, and will be inconsequential compared to the useful and polite new members.
