I think the wiki mentioned approximately 5 days before the water goes then about a month for the power to finally go.

That still works, I've found. The trouble is the game is rather particular on how lined up your mouse is with them.

Where the pointer itself is, doesn't seem to matter.

It takes some getting used to, but the combat system is amazing IMO. I love this new update. I love walking around with a fireaxe and killing 3 zombies with a "critical" to say. It makes me feel proud. It actually adds a challenge to the game. And the fact that it takes me 4 shots to take down a zombie, UNLESS I DO A INSTANT HEAD SHOT ON THEM, is awesome.

One shotting zombies is actually quite easy if you don't click rapidly. With zombies being different speeds and losing interest in you relatively easily, it's just a matter of time and item durability to take out a horde.

I agree. The new system is fantastic.

My previous character died in another area of the map, i spawned in the new one, and died almost instantly because i spawned in the middle of a herd of zombies. Its not a big deal of a bug, but it is still kind of a bug

Just installed the game today. Definitely liking the intentional changes, though the bugs aren't quite as fun.

I followed instructions on the wiki to fix the tasty soup crash, so hopefully I won't experience that in upcoming games.

The bigger annoyance I'm having is that I end up being infected quite easily, including in one game where I didn't get into any fights. In my last game, I checked my status after a fight, and everything was rated OK. But then pain set in, followed by queasy moodle and eventual zombification. I never saw a bleeding or injury moodle. Someone upthread mentioned rotten watermelon slices, and I have been eating watermelon, even though there was no change of name to indicate rotting. I'll try skipping watermelon for my next couple games to see if that changes anything.

My brother's annoyed with the stair thing, since it makes the apartment complex into a deathtrap. I haven't experienced it, myself, yet. Has it been confirmed that it's caused by a gap between the stairs and the banister?

Food zombifies you before it displays rotten. Be wary of all perishables out of fridge for more than a few hours. Known bug.
Stairs have a few gaps in railing, I find it hardly a bug, as I try not to walk off upper floors in my real life I am accustomed

Only real bugs with stairs were prior to these releases, just watch your step.

Just finished my following game as a zombie. Woke up in the middle of sleep to transform. Tried fighting it off with lots of food, but, of course, that failed as it always does. Did manage to survive getting scratched twice with the aid of bandages, but I guess my food just got that pre-rot state. Hope they hurry up with the rotten icons of the new foods, since I nearly ate a rotten pie from the gas station vending machine.

Amusingly, I started the game on the top floor of the apartment building. Was able to get down by being very careful. My brother was impressed.

One thing that annoys me: Cooking food takes forever. I also wasn't pleased when divvying up some tasty stew ended up consuming the pot.

ErasmusCrowley has a mod that fixes soup pot and other issues, worth looking at.
I fear no apartment stairs! Hehe

Food seems 100% infection for me, more dangerous than the zombies. Gas station pie also got me once, ate them without thinking as I was hungry and swarmed.

Hey this is my post on this forum.

I just wanted to point something disturbing out.

All dead Zombies get naked after I quit and run the game.
Its very disturbing to see Zombies in Underwear. :oops:

Also a horde spawn inside of the big supermarket. I know it should be fixed.
Maybe its just a one incident. :geek:

Me, too, I just bought the game today. Btw, what is the newest version of PZ running on Linux? 0.1.5d works but is not as much interesting as the newest RC.

Bugs:
- Doors can be opened / closed if game is paused.
- Lit candle used up to about ~60% goes back to 100% brand new state if put into container.
- After eating raw cold meet (could not cook it in microwave - maybe electricity disappeared) got sick and turned into a zombie... but game want on, I can access my inventory, feed my zombie self with whatever I had on my person before dying... the text about how long I survived is also missing... I could even send my zombie to sleep! But now screen is black and I cannot do anything...
- "Skills to pick" counter can go into negative range. Maybe this way a skill can be upgraded unlimited times after only earning but one skill point...
