Hi

About the stacking of Planks, its not possible at any length. It treats them as weapons and might be why they cant be stacked.

Any fix for this other then maybe changing the items.txt file.

Edit: Changed planks in items.txt into normal items.

hey im having a bug that whenever i hit the button to zoom in the view (how i always play) the game decides that its going to freeze. Any1 know a fix?

Ok well i have no clue what a batch file is or how to get to it.... im in the ProjectZomboid_Laucher area but idk how to access my batch folder? Sorry for the Computer novice...ness....

Batch files are called ".bat" . You can edit them with notepad and contain starting parameters for a specific ".exe."-file . If you can't see file extensions you have to enable them in the explorer. Go to tools / options and unmark "hide extensions for known file types".

It should be all in your PZ-folder. At least if you downloaded and unpacked the PZ - .rar -file.

For future refrence, anyone looking for appdata folders can just use %appdata% instead of typing out C:\users etc. (on windows.)

After trying the 0.2.0q version (the 1rst I've tried since the 1.5d), here are the bugs I've noticed.
Hum... I'm french, so sry if I don't write very well.

• Playing curling with zombies
When I hit a zombie with a baseball bat, or a butter knife... he's sliding. And when I say he's sliding, he's able to travel all the supermarket, and more far again !
I don't know if it's old, or normal, but I don't think that a zombie realy slide so much (ok, ok, I never met zombies yet, in real life...). That's fun !

• Problem of epilepsy
Sometimes, when I press Ctrl to aim and hit, them stop to press Ctrl, my character is still aiming... as if I was holding Ctrl ! And I can't do anything to stop this ! He's realy blocked. I so have to way : press, hit, beat my keyboard and hope that it will work, or quit and relaunch PZ.
That's painful when I've 43 zombies on my ass.

• Skywalker
Here's a nice tip when you're falling from the last floor : run. Finaly, you will come back in the bulding, one or two floors bellow (if more, you're dead).
For exemple :

• Another bug with saves :
When I quit/save and relaunch/load, every items are reloaded. Battery, drugs... and water !

I'm running Ubuntu 11.10. The launcher works fine and the game starts and plays, but there are two bugs that I don't think anyone has mentioned yet that have been really irritating me. The first is that the zoom button doesn't work, and if you click it, the game crashes. The second is that, and this happens a lot, my character will start moving without me telling him to move, and then he moves the wrong way and I lose control. I absolutely love this game and can't wait for a full release. Thanks!

how do i find the "PZ directory" on mac??

Is it normal for a zombie to fly 100 feet away from me if i use a nailed plank as a weapon and hit them with a mouse click on the head?

I hit one outside on the streets and they go 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...'

Also, Java sucks because these days if I run anything java the application slows to a crawl...

If it's not mostly Java's fault, then it's Intel's fault for a shoddy i5 first generation cpu on a sony vaio laptop... Then again, I got a AMD Athlon dual core desktop with 6GB of ram after piecing new parts together and all Java stuff runs laggy too...

I think Sun Microsystem fked everyone over when they upgraded to Java 7.

Also, is it normal for memory usage to fly off the charts whenever I play Java based games?
Runescape runs with 300MB of ram, then it jumps to 400MB in 5 minutes, then 600MB then 1GB, all within half an hour of playing.

Is anyone having a problem where when you go to play sandbox mode and you make a new character and world it says loading forever but never loads?

That is what happens with the launcher but when I used the direct download the game does not even open?

Killem choose another class, the hang on loading into the world is an error with the construction class (and a few others possibly) .
