13 days... it's not much to be proud of I guess but a good bit of looting was done in that time. I'd managed to barricade up half of the apartment building windows as I was hiding out on the top floor. Had all my supplies to last a good 2 weeks or so heading down the stairs to turn off all the lights and suddenly I'm falling through the floor to my doom.

Hell hath no fury like the rage that beheld me but all I could let out was a mere "Okay "

Technically this should go in the bugs section i'm not too sure if so feel free to move it the real question I'm asking here is has anyone else met the same fate by being randomly maimed by the stairs. Oh this has also happened in the farm house... literally dropped dead for no reason when walking up the stairs.

Yes, many a time... It's not a bug though, at least I don't think it is. I think it's just missing rails, but apparently whoever owned the apartments didn't seem to give a flying fuck about any unfortunate soul, such as yourself and I, who fell down said stairs to their doom.

Stars that ate people was once an incorporated feature in the game.

The apartment stairs are not actually a bug but, an easter egg paying homage to those time.

Lmao I fell down like 3 flights of stairs in ther apartments.

I was on the top floor, looking for stuff and I had a brainstorm, I could fill my kettle for water to make tea! I remember seeing a kettle in a cupboard downstairs so I rush out the room, on to the stairs and VWOOOM BANG dead.... lol

made me laugh my arse off. Freak accidents: the biggest killer in project zomboid :p
